Dorota Przelaskowska
A legal counsel, member of the District Chamber of Legal Counsels in Warsaw. She graduated from the Law and Administration Faculty of the Warsaw University in 1998. She also graduated from the Post-graduate European Law Study (Warsaw University) and the Post-graduate Competition Law Study (Institute of Legal Sciences at the Polish Academy of Sciences). Since 1998 she has gained professional experience at the international law firms such as Hunton & Williams, Dewey & LeBoeuf (since 2009 as the local partner) and Greenberg Traurig (as the local partner). She is a member of the Competition Law Association.
In her work she mainly deals with the company law issues, commercial law, merger and acquisition transactions, private equity transactions, competition protection law issues and banking law. Her professional experience also includes advising on administrative law, labor law and real estate matters.
She advised many private equity funds and professional investors (Polish and foreign) in a number of M&A transactions involving companies operating in various economic sectors. She has significant experience in the corporate law, in particular with respect to the operation of capital companies.
She advises her clients on the domestic and European merger control rules and successfully represents clients in merger clearance proceedings related to consolidation of businesses. She provides advice on other aspects of antitrust law, especially with respect to the compliance of business activity with the broadly understood competition and consumer protection law.
Dorota also deals with the banking law (regulatory issues, proceedings before the Polish Financial Supervision Commission re: bank licenses, etc.) advising the key Polish and foreign banks active in Poland.
